Why Choose Us For SEO?
What's Involved with SEO?
There are many factors with optimising a website and getting it to the top. Firstly we need to make sure that bots (or spiders) can crawl it without issue. Next we ensure there are no technical problems preventing it from being indexed, or that may prevent it from ranking.
We also need to make sure that it won't fall foul (or hasn't
already done so) of the Panda & Penguin
Then we need to address the on page factors, which may involve extra text content and tweaking.
Once all the on page factors are in place, we then move on to the "off page factors. These are the incoming links from a variety of sources, that act as "votes" for your websites.
Each project is different. And we will consult with you every
step of the way.
Ok, but what do you do different?
Firstly, we are in it for the long haul. We don't do quick fixes that will be short lasting.
We use our 14 year experience, to judge the fine line between compliance with Google's Webmaster Guidelines and what's needed for actual ranking success.
Obtaining top rankings is a matter of being better than your competitors; while they are hiring "cheap" SEO companies, with us, you will have a skilled SEO consultant who is busy making sure Google will love your site and applying our "secret sauce" to give you site authority.
What's the cost of SEO?
We don't charge £100 a month. If you can't afford to invest in your website, with a professional SEO consultant, then please don't go with super cheap services as they'll likely end up doing you more harm than good.
We charge a fair amount based on the work involved and our expertise, and the ROI that you as a business owner will receive. As every London business has different needs, and a different level of work required, we tailor prices to each customer.
How to find an seo expert?
There are many ways. Searching Google , Bing or Yahoo in your local area is one way, but that will only find you a selection that have ranked their own pages. You can also look for those that produce great content such as informative articles, through sites such as Linkedin, Facebook and general blog searches.
What should I ask an SEO Consultant before hiring them?
Once you have a short list, talk to them. Ask them questions about how long they have been working in the field, what kind of successes they have had. The key thing is that it is not all about example rankings, as it's unlikely you will understand how difficult or easy they were to achieve. Many SEO specialists will show you example rankings, but in reality they were easy to achieve. The real proof comes from working with companies over time to improve their traffic at a high level. So ask them what types of companies they have worked with and what they have done for them. Another way to judge expertise is to ask them for a short assessment of your website.
How do SEO consultants work?
A true consultant will analyze your business in detail to determine your aims. Their focus will be on your organisation, not keywords. They'll be looking to see what type of customer you are looking for, what products /services you want to push the most. They then work back to find the most appropriate keyword themes to use.
Content production is inevitable, unless you are lucky enough to already have a well developed website. Good consultants produce good content; offshore suppliers tend to fare badly in this aspect.
How will I know a good SEO consultant from a bad one?
A good consultant will not only get you ranking but keep your website safe. This is an important aspect, as many people have the skills to rank a site, but doing so in a way that doesn't invoke Google penalties is the real skill. That's why a long term business relationship is essential.A good consultant will monitor your site regularly to ensure any Google changes don't detrimentally affect it, or to prevent negative attacks by unscrupulous competitors. A good consultant, is basically an insurance policy for your website.
What is digital marketing?
The true definition is the promotion of a product, brand or service via multiple digital channels.
Digital channels include Search Engines (e.g. Google) , Social media (e.g. Facebook), Video (e.g. Youtube), Content (e.g. Reddit) Mobile Apps and many more.
These days that not only means desktop PC's, but smartphones, tablets and other devices. It means using multiple mediums from the written word to video , images to audio.
In short , Digital Marketing is the method of pushing your message to people who are using the Internet, however they are using it.
What is a Digital Marketing Agency?
A digital marketing agency deals with promoting your company on multiple channels, not just SEO. They will analyse your business and goals, and find the channel that is going to give you the best results for the lowest cost. For some this might be Search & Pay Per Click ; for others it might be YourTube and Facebook. It all depends on your market.
The point is that they are not tied to specific channels. They advise you which ones will work best for you. Some of them you may never even have been aware of. And then they will formulate campaigns and manage them for you.
How does digital marketing help a business ?
Digital marketing gets the word out about your company, in multiple
ways. It finds where your potential customers are online, and
puts you in front of them. It should always have a measureable
ROI, so you know how well it is working for you. This is why businesses
love digital marketing, as they can see that each pound spent
is producing many more; something that is so much harder to quantify
with traditional marketing such as print advertising & PR.

In This Article:
What is SEO?
Each search query (the keyword or keyword phrases inputted to arrive at a list of relevant websites) is different and gives different results; therefore, the focus is first on deciding what keyword phrases are applicable for a website, before doing any optimisation work.
Nowadays, there are a lot of different search results ranging from images through to local search and video search. What website ranks where, is down to a myriad of factors which we'll explore here; ranging from website architecture through to the on page content, incoming links and HTML web coding, just to name a few.
Following the creation of the World Wide Web in 1990, websites began springing up and it became clear that a method to catalogue and find relevant websites was needed. This led to the birth of search engines such as Alta Vista, Infoseek, Lycos and others, with todays dominant heavyweight Google, being formed in 1998.
Webmasters quickly realised that by appearing at the top of search results, their sites would get more visitors (and usually make more money) and so Search Engine Optimisation was born.
At first, the factors to determine ranking were simple; things like the amount of times a keyword was repeated on the website, and included in the meta tags. However, this was easily “gamed” by webmasters in the know, leading to junky results. Google established itself quickly, due to it's use of off page factors such as the number and weighting of incoming links. “Pagerank” is Google's way of determining the authority of a website, based on the number and quality of incoming links to it, which act like votes.
Since the early days, the algorithms
used to determine search rankings have constantly evolved,
to ensure the likes of Google stay ahead of “spammers”
who seek to unfairly influence rankings and ensure that results
returned are accurate and fair.
